Jerick Johnson
Senior Pastor
Jerick has served as the Lead Pastor of CCF since January 2026, after faithfully serving as Associate Pastor from November 2023 through December 2025.
Jerick grew up in Hammon, Oklahoma, on his family’s farm, where he worked until answering a full-time call into ministry in 2022. He earned his undergraduate degree from Oklahoma State University (Go Pokes!) and later received his Master of Arts in Christian Ministry from Liberty University. He and his wife, Taylor, were married in January 2015 and have two children, Jory and Millie.
Jerick believes the local church plays a vital role in building strong, Christ-centered families. He is passionate about CCF and believes the Vega community is an incredible place to live, grow, and raise a family. Outside of ministry, he enjoys hunting, fishing, golf, helping on the farm, and supporting local student-athletes.

Darren Elliott
Teaching Pastor
Darren served as Senior Pastor of CCF from 2009 to 2025, faithfully leading the church through years of growth and ministry. In January 2026, he transitioned into the role of Teaching Pastor, passing leadership to Jerick while continuing to invest deeply in the spiritual life of the church through preaching and discipleship.
Darren has been in full-time ministry since 2004, serving as a youth pastor, associate pastor, and senior pastor at various churches. His passion is seeing people live in awe of God’s unconditional love and grace.
He married his wife, Lindsay, in July 2007, and they have one son, Samuel Cross. Outside of ministry, Darren enjoys woodworking, cooking, spending time in the mountains, and aviation.

Emily Weller
Executive Administrator
Associate Children's Pastor
Emily joined CCF staff in 2015 and has been involved in children's ministry since 2008. Emily and Paul married in November of 1999. They have three adult children, Echo, Bryce, and Lea. She loves to bake, cuddle with her cats, collect vintage Pyrex, and spend time outdoors during her free time.

Ashton Sansing
Children's Pastor
Ashton joined CCF in 2025. She grew up in Southeast Colorado and moved to Vega after marrying Austin in 2017. They have three children, Abilene, Aubryn, and Andrix. Ashton enjoys hiking and playing outdoors, baking (and eating) anything with chocolate, and being with her family.
